Conference Programme Announced

Rugby Expo 2010 is delighted to announce the conference programme for the event.

This year’s conference will focus on the key discussion areas of both the professional and amateur game including:

- The role of the IRB Rugby World Cup in driving and supporting the development of rugby worldwide.
- How Rugby Sevens and the Olympic Games will create opportunities for emerging nations to shine on the world stage.
- What lessons can rugby learn from other established and successful sports as it plots a course for the future.
- How can rugby maximise TV and digital media rights for greater coverage, profile and revenue.
- The lessons for clubs developing and implementing successful rugby business models.
- Experts in marketing, developing club membership and finances share their experience and insight as they answer questions from grass roots clubs.
- The importance of rugby’s core values and ways of maintaining them.

The conference content will provide a platform for some of rugby’s biggest names to take centre stage and discuss the key issues driving the development and future of the game.

Rugby Expo 2010 brings together professional and grass roots clubs, leagues, national associations, international federations, major brands, broadcasters, player representatives and key suppliers over two days during the second week of the northern hemisphere autumn internationals.

The first Rugby Expo attracted more than 1,000 attendees, 45 exhibitors and assembled a world class list of speakers, all dedicated to debating the future of the game with key decision makers from the domestic and international rugby territories in attendance.
